Writing from personal experiences, Shock describes her emotions in all of her songs. Bringing a storytelling style to her lyrics, you can almost experience what she went through with her details. The lyrics are raw and powerful as Shock doesn't want to hold back on anything she writes. "It's how I cope," states Meredith, "If I'm going through something, whether it's good or bad, I usually want to write about it. It's a way to release how I feel."
